About
Publish the
measurement.
ASCND Athletics sells weight-training gear — 24 products across 9 categories in 11 materials. Clothing, two shoes, caps, drinkware, towels, socks, wristbands, straps and a bag, from $9 to $344. That is the whole business.
Gear comes back for one reason
Almost every garment that gets returned was returned because it did not fit the way the page implied. Not because it was badly made, and not because the customer was careless. A tee described as “relaxed” that is cut slim through the chest; a short whose length is measured from somewhere other than where you assumed. The store knew the number and did not print it.
So we print it. Every product page carries the flat measurements of every size we make it in — chest pit to pit and doubled, length from the high point of the shoulder, waist measured flat, inseam from the crotch seam — with the method written under the table. Measure something you already wear and compare. That is more reliable than measuring yourself, and it is the only way to buy a garment online without guessing.
And it wears out for a second one
The other half of what a garment page owes you is what happens to it over a year. A heavy fleece relaxes at the cuff in the first month. A ribbed cotton tank loses half an inch of length on its first warm wash and then stops. A seamless knit slackens if you put it in a tumble dryer, permanently, and no amount of care afterwards brings it back.
All of that is normal, and all of it reads as a fault if nobody told you. So every page has a section that says what softens, what shrinks and by how much, what pills and where — plus a cautions list that names what will actually ruin the garment. Those are the least flattering paragraphs on the site and they are the reason the returns rate stays low.
What we do not sell
No nutrition and no supplements. Not because there is anything wrong with them, but because they are a different business with different rules, and a clothing brand that starts selling powder stops being able to answer questions about either properly.
No loaded equipment — no barbells, no plates, no benches, no racks. A pair of lifting straps is soft goods and it is in the catalogue; anything you put weight on is not, because the shipping and the resale exposure are a different business. No complete team kit and no custom printing either. Everything here is something you wear, carry or drink from, made of a material we can describe precisely, in sizes we have measured.
Are there reviews?
Not yet, and we would rather say so. This store opened this year. There are no star ratings, no review counts and no testimonials anywhere here — not because we do not want them, but because we have not earned any yet, and a shop that invents them is telling you something about everything else on the page.
When there are real reviews from real orders, they will appear with the order behind them. Until then, what you get instead is the specification: fibre content, weight in gsm, flat measurements, origin, how it ages, and what will wreck it. All of that is checkable against the garment when it arrives, which is more than a five-star average can say.
Ask before you buy
If you are between two sizes, send the measurements of something you already wear and we will tell you which one to order. Every message answered within one business day.
