Measure
something you own.

Every number on this site is a flat measurement of the garment, in inches, taken the same way every time. Take the tee or the short you already wear and like, lay it flat, measure it, and match it against the table. That is far more reliable than measuring your own chest and hoping a brand agrees with you about what a medium is.

How each number is taken

A measurement without its method causes the return it was meant to prevent, so here is the method.

Chest
Laid flat and buttoned or closed, measured straight across from armhole seam to armhole seam, then doubled. This is the garment's circumference, not yours.
Length
From the high point of the shoulder — where the shoulder seam meets the collar — straight down to the hem. Not from the collar bone, and not from the back of the neck.
Waist
The relaxed waistband laid flat, measured across and doubled. Everything with an elastic waist gives about two inches either side of the stated number before it starts to pull.
Inseam
From the crotch seam straight down the inside of the leg to the hem. A 7in short means seven inches of inseam, at every size.

Tolerance is about half an inch either way on a knitted garment and a quarter of an inch on a woven. Anything outside that is a fault and we will replace it — see returns.

The five cuts in this catalogue

True to size

Take the size you normally take. The Apex Tee, the Grind shorts, the Ascent Jogger and the Cover Quarter-Zip are all cut this way — no vanity sizing in either direction.

Close to the body

The Rig Tank is cut close because the rib is meant to sit against you, and its armhole is genuinely deep. Take your size; size up only if you want it loose, and expect it to still read as a training cut.

Boxy, sized to layer

The Vault Hoodie is cut wide — 25in flat chest at M against a 27in length, so it reads square. Take your size to wear it over a training top; size down for a close fit.

Deliberately small

The Base compression pieces are the only garments here cut under your size on purpose. Take your normal size for a firm fit, or size up for close-but-not-tight. If a compression layer does not feel snug standing still, it is not doing anything.

Drop shoulder

The Range Long Sleeve puts the shoulder seam below the point of your shoulder. It moves better overhead and it looks larger on a hanger than it wears — about half a size larger than a set-in sleeve at the same chest.

Every size table

The same tables that appear on each product page, in one place, so you can compare two styles without opening two tabs. All figures in inches, measured flat.

True to size, cut straight from the chest down. 22in flat chest at M against a 28in body length. Sleeve ends mid-bicep. If you want it loose, size up — it does not grow.

Runs TRUE TO SIZE in length and NARROW across the forefoot. If you are between sizes or wide-footed, take the half size up - the upper is stiff and it does not give the way a knit does. Otherwise take your normal athletic size.

Runs TRUE TO SIZE and slightly WIDE at the forefoot, which is deliberate. The knit gives about a quarter of a size over the first week. Take your normal athletic size; if you are narrow-footed, consider the half size down.
