FAQ
Before you
order.
Sizing, shipping, returns, and what the charge looks like on your statement. If something is not here, ask us.
- What size should I order?
- Take a garment you already wear and like, lay it flat, and measure it — then match those numbers against the table on the product page. Every figure we publish is a flat measurement of the garment in inches, taken the same way every time, so a like-for-like comparison is far more reliable than measuring yourself. If you are between two sizes, email the measurements and we will tell you which one to order.
- What will show up on my bank statement?
- ASCND. That is the only thing we ever bill under, on every order, so if you see anything else it is not us. If a charge looks unfamiliar, email hello@ascndathletics.com with the amount and the date before you call your bank — we can identify it in minutes and it saves everyone the dispute.
- How much is shipping, and how long does it take?
- Standard shipping is $6 and free on orders over $75, arriving in 3-6 business days. Express is $18 and arrives in 2 business days. Orders ship from within the United States and we do not ship internationally yet. Every order gets a tracking number by email when it leaves.
- Can I return something?
- Yes — 30 days from delivery, for any reason, including "it did not fit". Email us and we send a prepaid label; you never pay to send something back and there is no address for you to find. The garment needs to be unworn apart from trying it on, with its tags on. Refunds go back to the card you paid with within five business days of the parcel reaching us.
- Do you exchange for a different size?
- Yes, and it is the same process as a return — tell us the size you want instead and we send a prepaid label for the one you have. If the size you need is out of stock we refund rather than making you wait. If we recommended the size that did not fit, the exchange is prepaid in both directions.
- Which material should I pick?
- Tech jersey for hot rooms and conditioning — it is the lightest thing here and dries fastest. Ribbed cotton for lifting and for wearing afterwards. Brushed fleece for a cold gym, and it is genuinely heavy. Seamless knit only as a base layer under something else. Every material in the catalogue, textiles and otherwise, is described in full on the materials page, including what ruins it.
- How do I wash it?
- Cold, inside out, and hang to dry covers almost everything in the catalogue. The two things worth reading per garment are on every product page: no fabric softener on anything synthetic, because it coats the fibre and stops it wicking; and no tumble dryer on the compression pieces, because heat slackens elastane permanently and nothing brings it back.
- Do you sell nutrition or gym equipment?
- No nutrition of any kind — no powders, no drink mixes, nothing you consume. And no loaded equipment: no barbells, plates, benches or racks. What we do sell is what you wear, carry or drink from, which includes a pair of lifting straps and a shaker bottle. We would rather do one category properly than answer questions about three badly.
- Are there reviews?
- Not yet, and we would rather say so. This store opened this year, so there are no star ratings, no review counts and no testimonials anywhere on the site. What you get instead is the full specification on every product — fibre content, weight in gsm, flat measurements at every size, origin, how the garment ages and what will wreck it. All of it is checkable against the garment when it arrives.
- What if it arrives damaged, or the measurements are off?
- Send a photograph within 14 days of delivery and keep the packaging until we reply. Anything that arrives damaged, or that measures outside tolerance — half an inch on a knit, a quarter inch on a woven — is replaced or refunded in full including shipping, and you will not be asked to send it back.
- How do I reach a person?
- Email hello@ascndathletics.com. Every message answered within one business day. Our published telephone line and support hours are in the footer of every page. There is no chatbot and no ticket number — the reply comes from someone who can look up your order.
