A ribbed knit beanie with a single folded cuff, for a cold gym and the walk home from one. Knitted in a fine 2x1 rib so it holds the cuff instead of loosening into a slouch after a month.
Cut short rather than long - it sits on the ear and stops, with no excess to fold twice. There is no pom and there is no lining, both on purpose: a lined beanie gets warm in twenty minutes indoors and comes straight off.

- Fit
- One size, and honest about it: the rib stretches from a 21in to a 24in head circumference. 8in tall unfolded, 6.5in with the cuff turned once. It sits on the ear, not over it.
- How it ages
- The cuff is the wear point and this one is knitted in a rib specifically to delay that. Expect it to relax by about half an inch of circumference in the first month and then hold. Cotton pills where a jacket collar rubs the back of it.

- 95% combed cotton, 5% elastane, 2x1 rib knit

Care
- Hand wash cold, or machine wash cold in a mesh bag.
- Reshape while damp and dry flat.

- Cotton, not wool - it holds water rather than shedding it.
- One size only. Outside a 21-24in head it will not sit right.
