A light woven quarter-zip for the walk in, the warm-up and the walk out. Ripstop front and sleeves, open mesh across the upper back so it does not become a bag of heat the moment you start moving.
Packs into its own chest pocket. Stands up to wind and shrugs off a light drizzle for a few minutes; it is not a rain shell and the mesh back means it never will be.

- Fit
- True to size with room for a hood underneath. 24in flat chest at M, 27in body length, 25in sleeve from centre back. Quarter zip opens to mid-sternum.
- How it ages
- The woven panels outlast the mesh. Expect the mesh to be the first thing that goes, usually from a snag rather than from wear, and a hole in an open mesh spreads. The zip is the other wear item and it is a standard size, so a repair shop can replace it.

Chest is measured pit to pit and doubled. Length is the high point of the shoulder to the hem. Waist is the relaxed waistband, measured flat and doubled. Inseam is the crotch seam to the hem. Measure a garment you already wear and compare — that is more reliable than measuring yourself.
Care
- Machine wash cold on its own — the mesh catches on everything.
- Hang to dry.
- Do not iron. Do not tumble dry.
Cautions
- Not waterproof. Not close. The back is open mesh.
- The mesh snags on velcro and on a rough bag strap.
- Not warm on its own — it is a wind layer over something else.
