A heavyweight pullover hood in 420gsm brushed fleece. Boxy through the body, ribbed at the cuff and hem, with a two-panel hood that stands up instead of collapsing on your neck.
Sized to go over a training top without pulling at the shoulder, which means it is cut wide — 25in flat chest at M. If you want it close, size down.
It will relax in the first month. Cuffs and hem soften, the body drops a little, and it starts to sit the way a fleece is meant to. Anything sold as heavyweight fleece that stays board-stiff has been finished to feel new on a rail rather than to wear.

- Fit
- Boxy and generous. 25in flat chest at M against a 27in body length, so it reads square rather than long. Drop shoulder. Size down for a close fit; take your size to layer.
- How it ages
- Sheds lint for the first few washes. Relaxes through the first month — about half an inch of give at the cuff and hem — and then holds. The inner brush flattens under a bag strap and stays flattened. Bone will cream slightly over a year; black will lift toward charcoal in sunlight.

Chest is measured pit to pit and doubled. Length is the high point of the shoulder to the hem. Waist is the relaxed waistband, measured flat and doubled. Inseam is the crotch seam to the hem. Measure a garment you already wear and compare — that is more reliable than measuring yourself.
Care
- Machine wash cold, inside out.
- Tumble dry low or hang. A hot dryer shrinks the body before the sleeve, which makes it read even boxier.
- Wash separately for the first cycle.
- Do not bleach.
Cautions
- Not rainwear. A wet cotton fleece stays wet for hours and weighs what it drinks.
- Too warm to train in, in most rooms.
- Bone picks up dye transfer from dark denim.
- A hot tumble dry will shorten the body permanently.
