A pair of single-loop lifting straps in flat nylon webbing, bar-tacked at the loop, for pulls where your grip gives out before the rest of you does.
Nylon rather than cotton because it does not stretch under load, and a strap that stretches shifts the bar mid-rep. 21in long, which is two wraps on a standard bar for most hand sizes.
Unpadded. Padding under a strap feels better for one set and slips more, and we would rather it held.

- Fit
- One size, sold as a pair. 21in of usable length gives two wraps on a 28mm bar for most hands, or one and a half on a thick bar.
- How it ages
- Nylon abrades rather than tearing, so these announce their wear: the edge fuzzes and then frays where it crosses the bar. Retire a strap when the webbing has thinned visibly at that point - do not wait for it to part. The bar tack is stronger than the webbing and will outlive it.

Care
- Rinse in cold water and hang to dry.
- Never a hot dryer - nylon glazes, and glazed webbing is slick.
- Do not bleach.
Cautions
- Not wrist support and not a brace. A strap moves load from your grip to your wrist; it does not protect either.
- Not for overhead work, ever. Being strapped to a bar above your head is how people get hurt.
- Inspect them before every session and retire them when the webbing thins.
